The Classy Awards is the largest social impact awards ceremony of its kind, celebrating the greatest champions of social progress. The Classy Awards team spends an entire year researching, identifying and evaluating organizations in eight major cause categories. The winners are determined by the Classy Awards Leadership Council, which consists of an honarary board of leaders and experts whose unique perspective and valuable insight establishes this recognition as one of the highest honours in the social sector. 

The Classy Awards took place at the end of The Collaborative, the largest social innovation event of the year, running from June 14-16 in Boston's Innovation District. The event brought together the top nonprofits, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders from across the world to connect and collaborate about the future of social impact.

This year, Classy received over 1300 program submissions, represented by 1100 organizations from around the world. Of the 100 Finalists, the Lucky Iron Fish, and 9 other incredible organizations were selected by the Leadership Council for excellence in innovation. The Winners spanned over areas of health, human rights and poverty. The application process was rigorous and intensive, and we were judged using stringent criteria that assessed our potential to solve a problem with an innovative solution. It's a great honour to be recognized for our efforts and creative solutions that are making a dramatic impact on the world. The list of winners can be found here.
