High-Iron Dumpling Ramen

Raise your hand if ramen noodles were a staple at one point in your life!  Today, we're levelling up this dish by adding flavourful dumplings and fortifying the broth with natural iron. ⁠Save and share this high-iron brothy noodle recipe 


You will need: ⁠

➡️ 1 Lucky Iron Fish/Leaf⁠
➡️ 6 cups of broth⁠
➡️ 0.5 cup soy sauce⁠
➡️ 2 tbsp hoisin sauce⁠
➡️ 1 tbsp grated ginger⁠
➡️ 1 tsp sugar⁠


➡️ 0.5 cup bok choy cut in wedges⁠
➡️ 0.5 cup shredded carrot⁠
➡️ 0.5 cup shredded cabbage⁠
➡️ handful chopped mushrooms⁠
➡️ handful frozen dumplings⁠
➡️ 1 pack of ramen noodles ⁠

➡️ garnish: chopped green onions, sesame seeds, sesame oil, + seasoning pack that comes with the noodles⁠

Directions:⁠

Bring the broth to a rolling boil. Then add in the Lucky Iron Fish/Leaf along with soy sauce, hoisin sauce, grated ginger, and sugar. Continue boiling for 10 minutes to fortify the broth with extra iron! After 10 minutes, remove the Fish/Leaf. ⁠

Next, add in the veggies, dumplings, and noodles. Simmer until noodles are cooked. ⁠

Serve in a bowl with ample amounts of broth. Add garnish and enjoy! ⁠
