Start the week off on a healthy note with an Iron Packed Green Smoothie ✅
- 2 cups #IronWater
- 1/2 cup green apples (optional)
- 1/2 cup frozen kale
- 1/2 cup zucchini
- handful of parsley
- some honey/ agave/ maple syrup
- some ice cubes
Blend till smooth and enjoy on its own or with a side of pastry 😌
TO MAKE IRON WATER
1️⃣ Boil 4 cups of water. Once boiling add 2-3 drops of any acidic ingredient (citrus, vinegar tomato paste, etc.), as well as the Lucky Iron Fish/ Leaf.
2️⃣ Continue boiling for 10 minutes. Then turn off the heat and remove the Fish/ Leaf.
3️⃣ Drink the Iron Water on its own or use it in different dishes throughout the day- like this smoothie!
