Refreshing and Iron-Enriched Mint-Limeade
When life gives you iron deficiency, make Mint-Limeade!
1️⃣ Boil 4 cups of water. Once boiling add 2-3 drops of lime juice, as well as the Lucky Iron Fish/ Leaf.
2️⃣ Continue boiling for 10 minutes. Then turn off the heat and remove the Fish/ Leaf.
3️⃣ Pour 1 cup of the iron-enriched water into a bowl and to it add 1 cup of sugar or maple syrup. Stir until completely dissolved. "Iron Syrup" is ready.
4️⃣ Allow the remaining water to cool. In the meantime, take a big jug and add to it the juice of 6 limes, handful of fresh mint roughly torn, and 2 cups of ice (bonus points if the ice was made with "iron water").
5️⃣ When you are ready to serve, add the "iron water" as well as the "iron syrup". Stir thoroughly and serve in glasses with lime slices! 💚💚💚
